The submission of articles must be done on-line, according to the following norms:

  • An author cannot sign more than three works and can only appear once as the first author.
  • The articles must be submitted on-line, in the Conference website.
  • Reception will be confirmed, with the indication that the articles do or do not respect the required format. The authors shall not consider that the work was accepted until they receive the corresponding confirmation.

  

Formatting

  • The text must be written in Microsoft Word 2007 or previous format.
  • It must be written in A4 size format, single spaced and justified. The top, bottom and right margins must be 2.5 centimeters (0.98 inches) and the left margin must be 3 centimeters (1.18 inches).
  • The articles can not exceed 80000 characters or 18 pages, including graphics, tables and bibliography. They can be presented in Spanish, Portuguese or English. The bibliographic references must appear at the end of the text. The first paragraph must be reserved for the name of the scientific area, in which the authors suggest that the presentation be included, in upper case, Times New Roman, 10, normal characters and left justified.
  • After inserting a blank line, the second paragraph must include the presentation title, in upper case, Times New Roman, 12, bold characters and left justified.
  • After inserting a blank line, the third paragraph must start with the author(s)' full name, followed by the e-mail and the institutions they belong to, in Times New Roman, 11, normal characters and right justified. When there's more than one author, they all must appear in different lines
  • After two blank lines, the fourth paragraph must start with the word "ABSTRACT", in upper case, Times New Roman, 11, normal characters and left justified. The abstract text will start in the following line, in Times New Roman, 11, normal characters and justified.
  • The abstract can be presented in Portuguese or Spanish, always with English translation - ABSTRACT - or only in English. The abstract shall not have more than 150 words.
  • The fifth paragrah must start with the expression "KEY WORDS", followed by the list of key words, in Times New Roman, 11, normal characters, left jsustified and separated by commas. No more than five key words should be listed. They can be listed in Portuguese or Spanish, always with English translation - KEY WORDS - or only in English.
  • After the key words, a line will be inserted.
  • After two blank lines, the first title will be placed, followed by the text, in Times New Roman, 10, normal characters, without tabs, justified, with the paragraphs separated by a blank line.
  • The titles and subtitles of the text must be identified with arabic numeral (1,2,3...), in upper case, Tmes New Roman, 10, bold characters, justified, preceded with two blank lines and followed by a blank line.
  • The footnotes will be placed at the end of the page, in Times New Roman, 8, normal characters and justified.
  • The graphics or figures must be in black and white and inserted in the text. Preferably, they must be made with Microsoft Office applications or, alternatively, inserted as images.

Bibliography

  • Each quoted work must be indicated in the text through the last name or last names and the initial of the first name of te author, followed by the year, in parenthesis. Example: Navarro A. (2004).
  • The APA rules must be followed for the bibliographic citations and references
  • Check: http:www.anpad.org.br/rac/rac_guia_apa.pdf.
  • The complete reference must be placed in the bibliography, not in the footnote.
  • The bibliography must be in alphabetical order, in Times New Roman, 8, normal characters.

Example for articles:

  • Navarro, A. (2004): Article title in quotes, name of the magazine in italic, vol. 1, nº 1, month or period, pp 1-10.

Example for books:

  • Navarro, A. (2004): Title, Paublisher, City, pp 1-10.

 

Rules

  • An author cannot sign more than three works and can only appear once as the first author.
  • An author cannot make more than two presentation.
  • The submitted works can be the result of dissertations of masters degree or PHD.
  • Each presentation can only be submitted to one scientific area.
  • The submitted works must be original, not having been published under any printed or electronic form and remain that way until the end of the event.
  • Only works with adequate wording and spelling will be accepted, since the version sent will be final.
  • In the act of submission of the works, the insertion of all authors must be done with their full names, at the moment of uploading. The insertion of authors is not accepted after submission.
  • In the on-line submission, a file in Word format and a file in Pdf format will be requested. The file in Word format must contain the complete article. The file in Pdf format should not contain the authors' identification.
  • The works sent in Pdf format cannot, under any circumstance, include identification; those in which authors are identified will be excluded from the event. For that reason, make sure that your work does not contain any explicit or hidden identification, namely, in the file properties.
  • The final acceptance of the presentations will not occur until the authors have made the registration payment and sent a copy of the proof of payment.
